SCREEN READERS
Screen readers are software programs that present graphics and text as speech. Screen readers allow people who are vision impaired to access computer screens and web pages. A screen reader is used to verbalize, or "speak," everything on the screen including names and descriptions of control buttons, menus, text, and punctuation.
Screen readers include:
JAWS for Windows
iListen - Voice recognition software for Macs
