Woman's Week..... A New Opportunity
This winter, Disabled WinterSport Australia are conducting a Woman’s Camp as an opportunity to bring woman together around the issue of advancing the participation of females in Adaptive snowsport and recreation.
It is a new pilot program run in NSW from the 23-28th June, skiing at either Perisher or Thredbo. We will be on snow for four days and will also run some social events through the week. This week is for anyone interested in learning how to ski or board, just wanting to have some fun with friends or already be an avid lover of snow sports. It’s a chance to get together, talk about some issues that face female participation, and have a good laugh.
We are also seeking Expressions of Interest for Volunteers to attend in the role of an Adaptive Snowsport Guide. Please let Sven know if you would like to come to NSW and help out with this camp....Read more...
