Vail Resorts Launches Epic Australia Adaptive Pass partners with DWA

At DWA, we value the strong ties and relationships we have across the Australian snow resorts, working with those resorts to improve accessibility for people with disability.

Over the green season we have being doing just that – strengthening our partnerships and working closely with all resorts for the benefit of our members. This work continues throughout the year, which is why we are very excited about the Vail Resorts announcement yesterday.

As a result, all full members of DWA now have access to the Vail Resorts (Falls Creek, Mount Hotham, and Perisher) Epic Australia Adaptive Pass. Aimed at reducing barriers and increasing access to these snow resorts for people with disability, this latest initiative will significantly help DWA members.

In the words of our CEO, Jenni Cole:

“Finding Freedom on Snow has always been our overarching vision and this initiative with Vail Resorts is a major step forward to reducing barriers and increasing access for our members.

We continue to work with Vail Resorts and our partners on behalf of all our members to deliver unique experiences in the alpine regions of Australia. This Epic Australia Adaptive Pass is another example of how values-driven organisations can work together to realise products and services that meet the needs of people of all abilities.”

Vail Resorts announcement 27th April 2022

In 2020, we announced our commitment to creating a more inclusive and diverse environment with the launch of a new company value - Be Inclusive. Today, we’re excited to take the next step on this journey through the launch of the Epic Australia Adaptive Pass.

As part of our Be Inclusive value, we acknowledge the cost to experience our resorts can be higher for guests with impairments and disabilities. The Epic Australia Adaptive Pass provides equal value and opportunity for eligible guests to discover the magic of our Australian and North American resorts and develop their on-snow abilities – without additional costs.
